Audit Changes and Corrections

The purpose of the premium audit is to ensure for both the member and IMWCA that the appropriate premium was paid. To ensure the premium is correct, IMWCA gives the member 30 days to review the audit in order to make any changes that may be needed.

Tips for reviewing a premium audit:

  1. Make sure address and contact information are correct.
  2. Review exposure summary for any incorrect class codes or department payroll information.
  3. Review the description of operations to make sure it is up to date with the accurate information.
  4. Review the payroll exposure and classification details for employees to ensure their duties and gross wages are correct.
