Iowa League of Cities Administrative Staff

The Iowa Municipalities Workers’ Compensation Association is affiliated with and administered by the Iowa League of Cities (League). Twelve League employees provide administrative services including underwriting, loss control and claims. The staff works closely with members to help create a safer workplace, contain claims costs and keep premiums stable and affordable.

IMWCA Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is comprised of nine elected and appointed officials representing IMWCA members. They are nominated and elected by the membership at the annual meeting held in conjunction with the Iowa League of Cities Annual Conference each fall. Trustees serve three-year terms and the terms are staggered such that each year, three trustees are up for election. Terms are effective in October immediately following each annual meeting.
